Anniversary book: 61/11 Continuous Collective

BDP's 61/11 booksThe book written by Sunday Times architecture critic and RIBA Journal editor Hugh Pearman with contributions from writer and journalist Owen Hatherley and commentator and urban regeneration advocate Lee Mallett, was published on 25th May.

It gives an insight into the work, ethos and culture of BDP tracing the work of the practice from its founding in 1961 as part of the emerging cultural change of the north west of England to the present day international design firm.  The book features the BDP buildings and projects regarded as catalyst projects throughout those 50 years together with some of the buildings they spawned.
