Architect and editor of e-architect, Adrian Welch admires BDP's work on a much-loved Glasgow institution

Kelvingrove is apparently the most visited museum outside London and a Category ‘A’ listed building:

BDP’s task to make it more accessible and create 35% more gallery space was arduous.

The result is a subtle reworking of the fabric, providing pleasant spaces to learn and observe.

Adrian Welch trained and worked as an architect, setting up e-architect in 2000. The site now attracts tens of thousands of visitors per day and features some 14,000 pages of news and projects.
