One of BDP's important turn-of-the-century renovation projects (in this case with Rick Mather Architects), the National Maritime Museum is something film-maker Ben Tunningley holds dear

I grew up in Greenwich, so the National Maritime Museum was a very important part of my childhood.

After many years of absence, I’ve rediscovered it as a place of tranquility and beauty – a haven after frenzied tennis matches in the park.

I regularly spend time wandering and thinking, drifting through the galleries and, always, marvelling at the courtyard. Thank you.

A corporate film producer with a particular interest in documentary, Ben has also worked in broadcast television, made several short films and wants to be a rock star when he grows up.
