The masterplan to improve facilities at the world famous All England Lawn Tennis club in Wimbledon has had a transformational impact on British tennis.
The entire site was reordered whilst retaining the atmosphere of tennis in an English garden. The grounds were re-landscaped, water features introduced to add to the garden feel and a huge underground service tunnel created. The crowds enjoying the tennis on the big screen on Henman Hill will have no idea of the amount of building under the grounds.
This redevelopment had a significant impact on securing the Olympics 2012 with a world-class tennis facility already in place.
